Description
Award winning sculptor/artist Stacey Lee Webber cherishes working with found materials-- often vintage coins-- whose history is physically evident. Based in Philadelphia, Stacey's work is often described as meticulous, pushing the boundaries of everyday recognizable objects to the point of unidentifiable. The Indian head pennies on these earrings were minted from 1865 - 1909 and each one has a unique texture and finish. You will be getting a solid copper coin minted in those dates that has been hand cut with a jeweler's saw. Each pair has sterling silver backs and posts that have been soldered onto the oxidized penny.
