Description
Handmade from cotton vintage Kantha quilts sourced in Jaipur, this jacket was designed to be treasured beyond transient seasonal trends. A one-of-a-kind piece, the jacket reflects the original colors and patina of the recycled antique textiles with a light and age-softened feel. Namai was founded by Bianca Kuttickattu in 2020 with the aim of creating one-of-a-kind pieces from pre-loved materials and embracing the informal beauty of clothing with a past life. Bianca uses repurposed antique Indian textiles that can be worn by people of all genders, all year round. This cropped jacket is fully reversible with pockets on one side and coconut shell buttons on both sides for maximum versatility. The garment also features a mandarin collar, and cotton bias finishing on one side to highlight the shape and graphic lines of the seams.
