This one-of-a-kind, hand-made scarf celebrates the long and rich history of Phulkari (literally, "flower work") embroidery. While the origins of Phulkari remain unclear, it it believed to have most likely started sometime in the 15th century in the Punjab region of Southeast Asia, and it is often linked to the Gulkari embroidery of Iran.

This particular scarf features a brightly colored geometric pattern over a crepe base, done entirely with silk thread embroidery, sequin embellishments, and an iridescent gold trim. As it is a unique and hand-embroidered item, there may be be slight irregularities.
