Description
This tote features a work from Louise Bourgeois's series What Is the Shape of This Problem? (1999). Louise Bourgeois was a French-born American artist who gained recognition late in her long career. Throughout her life, she created many psychologically charged abstract sculptures, drawings and prints. Although Bourgeois exhibited with the Abstract Expressionists, she never became an abstract artist. Instead, she created symbolic objects and drawings expressing themes of loneliness and conflict, frustration and vulnerability.
