This special edition pencil is the sixth entry in our Blackwing Eras series - honoring Blackwing's heritage with designs inspired by the Blackwing 602's unique history.
In 2020, we launched our first Eras pencil celebrating 10 years of the Blackwing revival with a design pulled straight from the 1930s. This year, on the 15th anniversary of the Blackwing revival, we're celebrating the more recent past.
This Eras pencil sports a gold-banded design inspired by the pencil that kicked off the Blackwing revival in 2010. Each box includes 12 special edition pencils that feature a matte black barrel, gold stripe, gold ferrule, white eraser, and our soft graphite. Each pencil also features a debossed horse emblem stamped on the barrel that is an ode to the logo on the 2010 design.
