Cicada Design is a Maryland-based handmade jewelry studio that features lightweight earrings made with Liberty of London fabric and wood. Artist Emilie Kleiner is inspired by surface design and her work expresses a vintage ethos that turns adornment into a wearable garden. All Liberty London fabric is sourced from other small businesses. Fabric is sealed on these earrings with flexible adhesive that is not waterproof; like most jewelry, these earrings are not indestructible. Cicada Design recommends storing them away from direct sunlight in order to keep the colors vibrant. Your earrings will be similar to what is shown but all are one-of-a-kind.
