Description

Namai is an independent, New York-based fashion brand founded by Bianca Kuttickattu in 2020. Bianca creates timeless, zero-waste clothing from repurposed antique Indian textiles that can be worn by people  of all genders, all year round. Bianca founded Namai with the aim of creating one-of-a-kind pieces from  pre-loved materials and embracing the informal beauty of clothing with a past life. Handmade from cotton vintage Kantha quilts sourced in Jaipur, this jacket was designed to be treasured beyond transient seasonal trends. A one-of-a-kind piece, the jacket reflects the original colors and patina of the recycled antique textiles with a light and age-softened feel. Designed with a loose flexible fit it's one size fits most. This Sai coat is fully reversible with large roomy pockets on both sides. It closes with a double sided buttoned collar stand. The garment also features a mandarin collar, and cotton bias finishing on one side to highlight the shape and graphic lines of the seams.  Measurements (in inches):
Front length (from collar): 34.25”
Pit to pit: 65”
Hip: 22.5”
