Inspired by the intricate woven textiles, these statement fringe earrings combine a monotone top woven portion made from high light reflecting beads and a beautiful cascade of colorful fringe. The fringe incorporates geometric and floral patterns which are a nod to symbolic motifs. The beaded portion is hung from a stainless steel ball post. Emily Wancier is the artist and designer behind Mayana Designs. Originally from the US, Emily and her family have lived abroad in several countries including Ghana and Nicaragua. After moving to Medellin, Colombia with her three young children in 2020, she taught herself bead weaving to keep her hands occupied and explore her creative side. Her travels have inspired her love for artisan handmade products and the stories of the people behind them.
