ClayStoryCT is the result of a decades long artistic passion and friendship. Artist's Claudia Schattman and Sarah Bernhardt first met as young mothers when their daughters were attending the same pre-k program. They mused for years about taking the time to create something meaningful and beautiful together. In 2020, with the support of their now adult daughters, their daydreams and wishes evolved into conversations and plans which finally brought their vision to life!
Claudia and Sarah are constantly inspired by antiques, their surroundings of the ocean and country, and life’s little moments. They designed their ClayStoryCT line to embody timelessness and effortless, everyday luxury. Their designs honor and reference their stories and memories, sharing the beauty in the everyday, consciously crafting the perfectly imperfect, and continuing to create their own story.
