Limited Edition 3'x5' Digitally Printed Intersex Progress Pride Flag
You might spot this intersex-inclusive Progress Pride flag on our East Terrace (aka the Rocky Steps), proclaiming that the museum is an inclusive, safe space—we’re thrilled to have this symbol of community belonging in front of our building. The evolution of the pride flag spans from its creation in 1978, includes our city's 2017 addition of the black and brown stripes, and continues to evolve as an important symbol of inclusivity.
This Limited Edition 3'x5' intersex-inclusive Progress Pride Flag features the 6-Stripe rainbow flag, the Brown & Black stripes of the Philly Pride Flag, Blue, Pink & White stripes of the Transgender Pride flags at the hoist. The intersex inclusive progress pride flag, designed by Valentino Vecchietti, includes a purple circle over a yellow triangle that has been added to the chevron on the left half of Daniel Quasar’s progress pride flag design. The original intersex flag was designed by Morgan Carpenter.
