Reflecting an artistry both in design and craftmanship, these handmade beaded earrings feature premium Japanese glass Miyuki beads carefully woven to represent a bird motif. Framed with a brass earring component, these lightweight earrings are fun and whimsical and are perfect for adding a bold and artistic touch to an outfit. The earring hangs from a gold-plated stainless steel earwire. Emily Wancier is the artist and designer behind Mayana Designs. Originally from the US, Emily and her family has lived abroad in several countries including Ghana and Nicaragua. After moving to Medellin, Colombia with her three young children in 2020, she taught herself bead weaving to keep her hands occupied and explore her creative side. Her travels have inspired her love for artisan handmade products and the stories of the people behind them.
