Award winning sculptor/artist Stacey Lee Webber cherishes working with found materials-- often vintage coins-- whose history is physically evident. Based in Philadelphia, Stacey's work is often described as meticulous, pushing the boundaries of everyday recognizable objects to the point of unidentifiable. These hand-cut silver quarters are designed to accentuate George Washington's silhouette by leaving the rim of the coin circling around him. Each pair has sterling silver cufflink findings soldered onto the quarters. The backings are strong, hinged oxidized sterling silver.
