Namai is an independent, New York-based fashion brand founded by Bianca Kuttickattu in 2020. Bianca creates timeless, zero-waste garments and accessories from repurposed antique Indian textiles. Bianca founded Namai with the aim of creating one-of-a-kind pieces from pre-loved materials and embracing the informal beauty of clothing with a past life. Handmade from cotton vintage Kantha quilts sourced in Jaipur, this tote was designed to be treasured beyond transient seasonal trends. A one-of-a-kind piece, the tote reflects the original colors and patina of the recycled antique textiles with a light and age-softened feel. Richly textured Suzani embroidery onto the repurposed textiles used to make the Kantha quilts gives this item a bold and modern accent.
