As an artist and designer, Gabrielle Mandel of Supra Endura is always looking to the past for inspiration. Ms. Mandel loves movements around modern design and art and enjoys playing with these shapes and colors. When working on this project she tried to interpret artwork from the 1930s and give them a modern twist, so they felt relevant for today. She prefers working with gouache as it achieves a high/low color from the paint. Always inspired by still life’s, this unique rug is the result of her singular interpretation and her own creative hand.
