Enable your child to make and wear their own art! The new generation of wax crayons made by ökoNORM from renewable raw materials have bright colors and high covering property. Specially developed for natural textiles, not suitable for synthetic fabrics or wool. A slight white haze on the wax crayons, the wax bloom, is a proof of quality and indicates a high proportion of pure beeswax.

Wash textiles for the first time at 40°C. Before using wax chalks, wash the textile. Work on firm surface. Upon finishing drawing, cover with absorbing paper and iron from the backside (without steam) until no more color adheres to paper. Then iron from the front side without paper. Earliest after 2 days, wash the painted textile at 40°C with a mild detergent without bleaching agents.

From the first days, ökoNORM has been loyal to its fundamental principle in development of ecologically friendly products which have as little as possible impact on the environment and human health in their production, use and disposal. Before establishment of ökoNORM the company founders Ellen Schahn and Albert Krohn were actively engaged in environmental protection, citizens' initiatives and social politics. They have become acquainted sharing common interests and worked together in ecologically oriented companies. The history of ökoNORM started in 1989 in Frankfurt, when Ellen and Albert founded the company and developed the legendary “nawaro finger paint”.

Right from the very beginning, the company has developed successful philosophy, which remains unchanged ever since: To produce high-quality, environmentally friendly and non-toxic products, made from sustainable resources.
