The first Kaweco fountain pen was created in 1909 and a 1911 catalog advertised a pocket fountain pen for ladies, officers and sportsmen . Thus the Kaweco slogan "Small in the pocket, great in the hand." The Sport Series is based on a 1935 design and introduced in the 1990s.
