Award winning sculptor/artist Stacey Lee Webber cherishes working with found materials-- often vintage coins-- whose history is physically evident. Based in Philadelphia, Stacey's work is often described as meticulous, pushing the boundaries of everyday recognizable objects to the point of unidentifiable. The Lady Liberty coins are hand cut and chained to her own coin remnants in these striking earrings. Liberty drops dangle above the chin and definitely grab lots of attention! Each earrings is made out of a circulated vintage silver mercury dime, minted from 1916-1945, and is linked with oxidized sterling silver french wire hoops.
