Bridget Seligson is the designer/maker behind Zelik. Specializing in high quality handmade jewelry she combining sculptural forms and classic essentials with unique and traditional metalworking techniques. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and integrally hand forged by Bridget in her sunny Philadelphia studio. These stud earrings open ever so slightly to reveal sparkling flecks of cultured opal and resin. Wear them alone or in the second or third piercing as an accent to any pair of earrings. Cultured opals are lab grown opals that have the same chemical composition, internal structure, physical properties, and appearance as natural opals. They are often called lab-created opals, lab-grown opals, or cultured opals to indicate their man-made origin. Due to the handmade nature of each piece, there may be minor variations in patina color.
